THE UNEMPLOYED

 

The unemployed are defined as:

  • Unemployed young people (15 - 24 years old), who can benefit from active employment policies before the completion of six (6) months of unemployment.
  • Unemployed women
  • Long-term unemployed persons, (including unemployed over 50 years old primary school graduates or individuals with low formal qualifications, migrants, etc)
  • Older workers 55 - 64 years old
  • Inactive persons (including those in vocational training, the permanently disabled or other)
  • Individuals that run the risk of remaining unemployed
  • Individuals from socially vulnerable groups threatened by exclusion from the labour market

All these categories of the “Unemployed” are eligible to participate in the actions of the Operational Programme “HUMAN RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT 2007-2013”, which is co-financed by the European Social Fund and is performed by the ESF Actions Implementation Authority.

For the time being is implemented the following action:

During the current year the implementation of the following projects has been scheduled, namely:

  • "Vocational Training for the unemployed on basic ICT skills"
  • "Vocational Training for the unemployed on advanced ICT skills"
  • "Provision of e-learning services to the unemployed on ICT skills"
